Mounting specification

Its 1000 × 600 mm pattern is outside the common VESA sizes, so a typical consumer bracket will not line up. You need a mount that explicitly lists this spacing, or a universal large-format plate. This one is genuinely heavy at 216.7 lb. Everything about the install changes: the bracket has to be rated for it, the fixings have to reach structure, and you do not lift it alone.

That is roughly 40 per cent above the 155 lb median for a 115-inch screen, so a bracket chosen on size alone may well be under-rated for it. This is a QLED Mini-LED LCD panel. The backlight array and heat-spreader layers add real weight over a basic LED set of the same size, which is why it comes in at 216.7 lb. Check your bracket's rating against that number rather than a generic figure for 115-inch TVs.

Where the bolts land relative to your studs

At 39.4 inches across, this pattern comfortably clears 16-inch stud spacing, so a standard wall plate will reach framing on both sides.

How high to mount it

Centre of the screen at seated eye level, about 42 inches from the floor. On a 115-inch panel that is a bottom edge near 14 inches and a top edge near 70 inches (5' 10"), and it wants roughly 12.9 feet of viewing distance. At this size the bottom edge sits below the top of most media consoles, so either the console moves or the screen goes higher than ideal.

If you need to tilt it

Mounting above eye level, over a fireplace, a dresser or a tall console, means the screen should angle down toward you. These tilt mounts are rated for the QM7K's pattern and weight.

If it needs to swivel

Corner installations, open-plan rooms and kitchens usually want an articulating arm. Bear in mind that a full-motion mount applies far more turning force to the wall than a fixed plate does, so at 216.7 lb these want solid framing rather than anchors.

What else the job needs

Most of what goes wrong on a TCL install is not the bracket. It is the screw kit that does not match the panel and the cable that is suddenly two feet short once the screen is on the wall.

Other sizes of the QM7K

The QM7K does not use one pattern across the range. Your 115-inch is 1000 × 600 mm, while the 55-inch is 300 × 300, the 65-inch is 300 × 300, the 75-inch is 300 × 300, the 85-inch is 600 × 400, the 98-inch is 600 × 500. A mount will not simply transfer between sizes here, so check the size you actually own.
