In-wall wire concealment adds $99, a brick, stone or concrete wall adds $99, and the bracket is extra: bring your own or buy ours (flat $49/$69, full-motion $59/$79).

Wasatch Front walls: pioneer brick to new stucco
Three kinds of house make up most of the valley: brick ramblers and split-levels from the 1950s-1980s, new stucco-and-stone tract on the edges, and older brick in the town centers. Many of them also have a finished basement with a family room of its own.

Settlement-era brick survives in the pioneer cores of Bountiful, Farmington and Kaysville. The smelter and railroad towns added houses into the 1920s, the post-war boom built the ramblers, and since the 1990s stucco tract has spread south and west as far as Herriman and Eagle Mountain.

- Can you mount a TV in a finished basement?
- Yes. Framed basement walls take lag bolts into the studs like any other wall. Where the room is finished against bare foundation concrete, the bracket goes into the concrete with masonry anchors, and the $99 surcharge applies.
- My house is old Salt Lake brick. What changes?
- The anchors. Solid brick takes masonry anchors in the brick face or the mortar joint, whichever lines up with the mount's holes, plus the $99 surcharge. Old unreinforced brick gets checked for soft or crumbling spots before anything is drilled.
- Who installs in Utah?
