South Florida walls: block, concrete and old plaster
Most houses from Homestead to Jupiter are concrete block finished in stucco, the construction Floridians call CBS, and the towers along the water are poured concrete. Both count as masonry, so the $99 surcharge applies to most walls here. Wood and metal studs turn up mainly in townhomes and a few newer neighborhoods.

On CBS block or poured concrete, add $99. A worked example: a 65-inch TV on a CBS concrete block wall with our flat bracket and a paintable raceway comes to $159 + $99 + $69 + $79 = $406.
- Who actually does the install in Miami?
- A local installer from our vetted South Florida network, sent by Express Mounting. You book with us, we schedule and dispatch the job, and the flat rates and the warranty are the same as for any Express Mounting install.
- Can you hide the wires on a block wall?
- It depends on what is behind the surface. Where drywall is furred out over the block, there is a cavity to fish cable through, and in-wall concealment is $99. Where stucco or plaster sits straight on the block, there is no cavity, so a paintable raceway ($79) does the job instead.
- Can you mount in a Brickell or Aventura condo?
- Yes. Tower walls are poured concrete, so the bracket goes in with masonry anchors and the $99 surcharge. Many associations want an in-wall cable run approved first, and some buildings book elevator time, so check with management before the day.
- Is same-day available in Broward and Palm Beach too?
