Where the numbers come from
The mount finder reads a VESA dataset compiled from each maker's published spec sheets and manuals: mounting pattern, panel weight, screw size where published, and the source for each model and size, for Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense, Vizio and Roku TVs from 2024 to 2026. A spec the maker's own documents could not confirm is marked unverified. Where a brand or size is not in it, the finder says so and gives the typical pattern for that screen size, labelled as typical, rather than guessing silently.
Product recommendations come from a catalogue where every compatibility figure (maximum VESA, weight rating, supported screen sizes) is quoted from the product's own Amazon listing. When a listing does not state a spec, the tools say so instead of assuming it fits. Prices are hidden automatically once they are more than 24 hours old.
The geometry (mounting heights, viewing angles, screen sizes, cable lengths) follows standard guidance rather than house opinion: screen centre at seated eye level (42 to 50 inches from the floor in a bedroom), SMPTE's 30-degree viewing angle at the relaxed end and THX's 40 degrees at the immersive end.
