Mounting specification

300 × 300 mm is one of the standard VESA sizes, which keeps the field wide. If a bracket's range covers it, the holes line up. 29.3 lb is light for a 55-inch screen, so weight rarely rules a bracket out. Match the VESA pattern and you have your answer.

That is roughly 11 per cent below the 33 lb median for a 55-inch screen, which gives you more bracket options than the size alone would suggest. QLED Mini-LED LCD construction is the reason for the 29.3 lb figure. The backlight and its heat spreader add mass a plain LED set of 55 inches does not carry, so generic weight guidance for this size runs light.

Where the bolts land relative to your studs

At only 11.8 inches across, this pattern is narrower than the 16 inches between studs, the TV's mounting holes sit between them. The mount's wall plate has to be wide enough to reach two studs, or you need a single-stud mount rated for the full panel weight.

So check the width of the mount's wall plate, not just its VESA range. Carrying 29.3 lb off a single stud needs a bracket explicitly rated for it.

How high to mount it

Centre of the screen at seated eye level, about 42 inches from the floor. On a 55-inch panel that is a bottom edge near 29 inches and a top edge near 55 inches (4' 7"), and it wants roughly 6.1 feet of viewing distance. That clears a normal console comfortably, so the wall itself is usually the binding constraint rather than the furniture.

If you need to tilt it

Mounting above eye level, over a fireplace, a dresser or a tall console, means the screen should angle down toward you. These tilt mounts are rated for the QM7K's pattern and weight.

If it needs to swivel

Corner installations, open-plan rooms and kitchens usually want an articulating arm. Bear in mind that a full-motion mount applies far more turning force to the wall than a fixed plate does, so at 29.3 lb these want solid framing rather than anchors.

What else the job needs

Two things send people back to the shop mid-install: a bolt that does not fit this panel, and an HDMI cable measured for a TV that used to sit on a stand. Both are cheap to solve before you start.
