In-wall wire concealment adds $99, a brick, stone or concrete wall adds $99, and the bracket is extra: bring your own or buy ours (flat $49/$69, full-motion $59/$79).
Who installs across Los Angeles
Express Mounting has no office in California. A Los Angeles booking goes to an installer from our vetted LA network, and we schedule and dispatch it ourselves, whether the job is in the South Bay, the Valley, Irvine or Corona.
Morning bookings, made before noon, get a same-day install, with the installer typically at the door 2-4 hours after you confirm. The flat rates and the 3-year workmanship warranty are the same as anywhere we work.

LA walls: plaster, stucco and slab
Southern California houses are wood-framed and finished in stucco outside, so most TV walls are drywall or plaster over wood studs, with no surcharge. The exceptions are the concrete condo towers. It is also earthquake country, which is one more reason anything bigger than about 32 inches goes into studs or concrete.

- How much does TV mounting cost in Los Angeles?
- The same flat rates as everywhere: $129 up to 54 inches, $159 for 55-69 inches, $209 for 70-79 inches, $299 for 80-99 inches and $399 for 100 inches and up. Concrete and other masonry add $99. For instance, a 55-inch TV on a lath-and-plaster wall with a paint-matched raceway comes to $159 + $79 = $238.
- Who comes out for an LA install?
- An installer from Express Mounting's vetted local network in Southern California. We run no LA office or showroom. Express Mounting handles the booking and the dispatch, and the rates and warranty are the ones on this page.
- Why a raceway instead of in-wall wires on plaster?
- Cutting old lath and plaster for an in-wall run tends to crack the plaster keys and leaves patching and repainting behind. On those walls a paint-matched raceway is the standard, while post-war drywall takes an in-wall kit for $99.
- Do earthquakes change how a TV is mounted?
- They are a reason to follow the rules strictly rather than a different method. Drywall anchors alone are only for a TV up to about 32 inches and 30 pounds. Anything bigger is lagged into studs or anchored in concrete.
- Is same-day available in Orange County and the Inland Empire?
- Yes. Irvine, Anaheim, Corona and San Bernardino run on the same rule as Santa Monica. A booking placed before noon can be done that day, with the installer arriving about 2-4 hours after confirmation.
