Mounting specification

The 300 × 200 mm spacing is common enough that compatibility is rarely the problem here. Any mount whose range includes it will bolt on. This is a middle-of-the-road weight at 52 lb. Plenty of mounts qualify, so the deciding factor is usually how you want the screen to move rather than what it weighs.

That is roughly 11 per cent above the 47 lb median for a 65-inch screen, so a bracket chosen on size alone may well be under-rated for it. This is a QD-Mini-LED LCD; Zero Connect box panel. The backlight array and heat-spreader layers add real weight over a basic LED set of the same size, which is why it comes in at 52 lb. Check your bracket's rating against that number rather than a generic figure for 65-inch TVs.

Where the bolts land relative to your studs

At only 11.8 inches across, this pattern is narrower than the 16 inches between studs, the TV's mounting holes sit between them. The mount's wall plate has to be wide enough to reach two studs, or you need a single-stud mount rated for the full panel weight.

So check the width of the mount's wall plate, not just its VESA range. Carrying 52 lb off a single stud needs a bracket explicitly rated for it.

How high to mount it

Centre of the screen at seated eye level, about 42 inches from the floor. On a 65-inch panel that is a bottom edge near 26 inches and a top edge near 58 inches (4' 10"), and it wants roughly 7.3 feet of viewing distance. That clears a normal console comfortably, so the wall itself is usually the binding constraint rather than the furniture.

If you need to tilt it

Mounting above eye level, over a fireplace, a dresser or a tall console, means the screen should angle down toward you. These tilt mounts are rated for the QNED9M's pattern and weight.

If it needs to swivel

Corner installations, open-plan rooms and kitchens usually want an articulating arm. Bear in mind that a full-motion mount applies far more turning force to the wall than a fixed plate does, so at 52 lb these want solid framing rather than anchors.

What else the job needs

Most of what goes wrong on a LG install is not the bracket. It is the screw kit that does not match the panel and the cable that is suddenly two feet short once the screen is on the wall.

The QNED9M does not use one pattern across the range. Your 65-inch is 300 × 200 mm, while the 75-inch is 300 × 200, the 86-inch is 600 × 400. A mount will not simply transfer between sizes here, so check the size you actually own.
