The VQD 100-inch against its lineup
Vizio lists the 2025 VQD (QLED) in 55, 65, 75 and 100 inches. It is the only Vizio 100-inch model from 2024 to 2026 in this research. 104.1 lb is about 33% under the 155 lb typical of 100-inch panels, which leaves more brackets to choose from.
Screws, studs and height
Vizio lists M8 screws for the four holes and a 15 mm screw depth. Use the screws that match that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are 31.5 in apart side to side, wider than 16-inch stud spacing, so a standard wall plate reaches a stud on each side.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 100-inch screen runs from about 17 in to 67 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.

No. Drywall alone is for TVs up to about 32 in and 30 lb on rated toggle anchors. At 100 in and 104.1 lb it needs the bolts in studs, or masonry anchors in brick or concrete.
