Field notes from Alpharetta installs
Alpharetta hands our crew five different walls inside one city, and the truck is packed for all of them because the drive between them is ten minutes. Avalon townhomes and condos are steel-stud framing throughout, and we standardized on Toggler SnapToggle anchors there after lag bolts failed pull tests in 2019. Windward lakefront houses from the late 1990s mix plaster accent walls with ordinary drywall, so we probe before we drill rather than trusting the finder. Halcyon and the Windward Parkway corridor are mostly post-2018 wood frame at a clean 16 inches on center, which makes them the fastest installs we book anywhere in north Fulton.
The older half of the city works differently. Crabapple and the Old Milton and Milton Road houses bring brick and stacked stone fireplace surrounds, where we core through mortar joints and set masonry sleeve anchors, and the downtown blocks still hold some plaster over lath. Plaster means staged pilot holes at 1/8 inch, then 3/16, then anchor size, with tape on the surface and a vacuum at the bit. That framing was set by eye, so we find both edges of a stud before centering a bracket.
Because the shop is here, Alpharetta also brings us the odd jobs: a screen relocated after a move, a mount somebody else left crooked, a Frame TV whose fiber run needs rerouting. Short calls for us, awkward ones for anybody driving in from another county.
TV mounting prices in Alpharetta
Express Mounting publishes the same flat rates in Alpharetta that it publishes in every city we cover:
- Basic mount (up to 54 inches): $129
- Large mount (55 to 69 inches): $159
- Extra large mount (70 to 79 inches): $209
- XXL mount (80 inches and up): $255
- Cable concealment: +$95 per TV
- Brick, stone or concrete surcharge: +$99
- Full-motion mount add-on: +$72
- Soundbar installation: $79
In Alpharetta the masonry surcharge is almost always a Crabapple or Old Milton fireplace surround, or a stacked stone accent wall in a newer Windward build. Drywall carries none, the steel-stud partitions at Avalon carry none, and neither does the plaster in the older downtown houses, even though plaster is the slowest wall in the city to work on. There is no travel fee. Same-day service when booked before noon. Call (470) 777-4077 or book online.

How Express Mounting covers Alpharetta
Alex Crabinsky founded Express Mounting in Atlanta in 2015; 7,874 documented installs and a top-rated reputation later, the process is dialed in. Alpharetta jobs run with our own crew out of the Douglas Road shop, off the same install checklist, backed by the same 100% satisfaction guarantee. This is the city where the company keeps its address, so the tech at your door has very likely worked your subdivision before and already knows whether that wall is going to give him wood, steel or brick.
