Mounting specification

Its 200 × 200 mm pattern is a standard VESA size, so any mount listing that spacing within its supported range bolts straight on. At 20.7 lb the panel is light enough that almost any mount rated for its size carries it comfortably. The VESA pattern, not the weight, is what limits your choice here.

Where the bolts land relative to your studs

At only 7.9 inches across, this pattern is narrower than the 16 inches between studs, the TV's mounting holes sit between them. The mount's wall plate has to be wide enough to reach two studs, or you need a single-stud mount rated for the full panel weight.

So check the width of the mount's wall plate, not just its VESA range. Carrying 20.7 lb off a single stud needs a bracket explicitly rated for it.

How high to mount it

Centre of the screen at seated eye level, about 42 inches from the floor. On a 50-inch panel that is a bottom edge near 30 inches and a top edge near 54 inches (4' 6"), and it wants roughly 5.6 feet of viewing distance. That clears a normal console comfortably, so the wall itself is usually the binding constraint rather than the furniture.

If you need to tilt it

Mounting above eye level, over a fireplace, a dresser or a tall console, means the screen should angle down toward you. These tilt mounts are rated for the UA7000's pattern and weight.

If it needs to swivel

Corner installations, open-plan rooms and kitchens usually want an articulating arm. Bear in mind that a full-motion mount applies far more turning force to the wall than a fixed plate does, so at 20.7 lb these want solid framing rather than anchors.

What else the job needs

The two things that stall a LG install most often are hardware and cable length. Box hardware does not always include the right bolt for a specific panel, and the HDMI cable that reached the old stand rarely reaches once the TV is on the wall.

The UA7000 does not use one pattern across the range. Your 50-inch is 200 × 200 mm, while the 55-inch is 300 × 200, the 75-inch is 400 × 400. A mount will not simply transfer between sizes here, so check the size you actually own.
