LG lists the 2024 UT8000 (LED LCD (direct-lit)) in 43, 50, 55, 65, 70, 75 and 86 inches. 2 of the 4 LG 70-inch models from 2024 to 2026 in this research use 400 × 400 mm; the others use 300 × 300 (2). This is the heaviest of them. 61.1 lb is close to the 57 lb typical of 70-inch panels, so size-rated brackets are in the right range; check the rating anyway.
Screws, studs and height
LG lists M6 screws for the four holes. Use the screws that match that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are 15.7 in apart side to side, close to 16-inch stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 70-inch screen runs from about 25 in to 59 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.
