TV Mounting Cost in Alpharetta, GA: Flat Rates by Size, the Add-Ons, and What Changes the Price

TV mounting in Alpharetta, GA is a flat rate by screen size: $129 for a TV up to 54 inches, $159 for 55 to 69, $209 for 70 to 79, $299 for 80 to 94, and $399 from 95 inches, which takes two technicians. The three add-ons are published too: $99 to hide the wires inside the wall, $99 for a brick, stone, tile or concrete wall, $79 to mount a soundbar. The bracket is yours or ours from $49, and there is no travel fee anywhere in the city. That is the whole price list. The rest of this page is about which lines apply to which Alpharetta walls, because that is where the quotes people get from other companies start to drift.

The labor rate: five bands, one rule

The labor price follows the screen, not the room, not the wall, and not the day of the week. Same-day slots cost the same as a booking made a week out.

Screen sizeLabor
Up to 54”$129
55” to 69”$159
70” to 79”$209
80” to 94”$299
95” and up (2 technicians)$399

Every band includes finding the studs, the bracket going into them with lag bolts (or the right anchor for the substrate), levelling, a pull test at twice the TV’s weight, hanging the panel, connecting what you have, and leaving with the packaging. The bigger bands cost more because the panels are heavier, the brackets spread across more studs, and from 95 inches it is a two-person lift.

The add-ons, and which Alpharetta homes need them

Wires inside the wall, $99 per TV. The HDMI and a code-compliant in-wall power kit run behind the drywall, so nothing shows between the screen and the console. Nearly every Windward, Halcyon and Crabapple new build takes this one: wood framing at 16 inches on center, a clean stud bay, done in the same visit. Where a wall cannot be opened, such as the concrete shear walls inside some Avalon buildings, a paintable surface raceway does the job for $79 instead, and we tell you which one applies before any hole is drilled.

Brick, stone, tile or concrete, $99. This is the one line that depends on the wall, and in Alpharetta it is almost always a fireplace: the brick and stacked-stone surrounds in Crabapple and off Old Milton and Milton Road, or a stone accent wall in a newer Windward house. The surcharge pays for a hammer drill, carbide bits and masonry sleeve anchors rated far past the load. It does not apply when the bracket goes into the framed, painted chimney breast above a stone surround, which is the common case with a gas insert, and it does not apply to the steel studs at Avalon: those take SnapToggle anchors instead of lag bolts, which changes the hardware and not the price.

Soundbar, $79. The bar hangs on its own bracket under the screen, in a stud or a SnapToggle pair, with HDMI ARC carrying the sound on one cable.

The bracket. Never part of the labor price. Bring your own, or buy one from us: flat mounts $49 or $69 by size, full-motion arms $59 or $79. A pull-down mount for a high fireplace is the size rate plus $99 for the assembly.

Three Alpharetta quotes, worked

  • A 65-inch TV on a bedroom wall in Crabapple, wires hidden, your own bracket. $159 labor plus $99 concealment: $258.
  • A 75-inch TV above a brick fireplace off Old Milton, tilting bracket from us, soundbar. $209 labor, $99 masonry, $69 bracket, $79 soundbar: $456.
  • An 85-inch TV on an Avalon steel-stud wall, full-motion arm from us, wires hidden. $299 labor, $79 arm, $99 concealment, no surcharge for the steel: $477.

Pick your own numbers with the estimator on the Alpharetta TV mounting page: the size first, then the wall and the mount, and it shows the labor price before you book.

What does not change the price

Alpharetta is where Express Mounting is based, on Douglas Road between Windward and Crabapple, so there is no travel fee and a same-day booking before noon usually puts the installer at your door two to four hours after you confirm. Plaster-and-lath walls in the older downtown houses are the slowest wall in the city to work on, with staged pilot holes and tape on the surface, and they still carry no surcharge. Neither does a second trip if a bracket needs a look: every install carries a 3-year workmanship warranty.
