The G4 comes with its own mount
LG puts its wall mount in the box. A flush mount leaves no room behind the TV for a power strip or a loop of cable, so the part most installs still need is an in-wall power and cable kit.

LG lists the 2024 G4 (WOLED (OLED evo)) in 55, 65, 77, 83 and 97 inches. 3 of the 9 LG 77-inch models from 2024 to 2026 in this research use 300 × 300 mm; the others use 300 × 200 (6). This is the heaviest of them. 82.5 lb is about 25% over the 66 lb typical of 77-inch panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.
What changed from the 2023 LG G3
- Pattern: 300 × 300 mm on both, so a bracket bought for the G3 lines up.
- Weight: 81.1 lb then, 82.5 lb now (1.4 lb heavier).
- Screws: M6 on both.
- A mount you already own for the G3 carries over if its rating clears 82.5 lb.

Screws, studs and height
LG lists M6 screws for the four holes. Use the screws that match that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are only 11.8 in apart side to side, less than the 16 in between studs. The mount's wall plate has to reach two studs on its own, so check its width, not just its VESA range.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 77-inch screen runs from about 23 in to 61 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.
