Samsung lists the 2024 LST9D (Neo QLED (outdoor)) in 65 and 75 inches. 2 of the 53 Samsung 65-inch models from 2024 to 2026 in this research use 400 × 400 mm; the others use 400 × 300 (38) or 300 × 200 (7). This is the heaviest of them. 85.8 lb is about 83% over the 47 lb typical of 65-inch panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.
Screws, studs and height
Samsung lists M8 screws for the four holes and a 11 mm screw depth. Use the screws that match that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are 15.7 in apart side to side, close to 16-inch stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 65-inch screen runs from about 26 in to 58 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.
