Samsung lists the 2024 Q70D (QLED) in 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches. 38 of the 53 Samsung 65-inch models from 2024 to 2026 in this research use 400 × 300 mm; the others use 300 × 200 (7) or 200 × 200 (6). 22 of them weigh more than this one. 47.2 lb is close to the 47 lb typical of 65-inch panels, so size-rated brackets are in the right range; check the rating anyway.
The 2025 Samsung QN990F 65-inch (QN65QN990FFXZA) lists the same 400 × 300 mm pattern at 47.6 lb (47.2 lb here), so the mounts matched here fit it on paper. Screws, studs and height
Samsung lists M8 screws for the four holes and a 13 mm screw depth. Use the screws that match that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are 15.7 in apart side to side, close to 16-inch stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 65-inch screen runs from about 26 in to 58 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.
