TCL lists the 2026 Q6L (QLED) in 50, 55, 65 and 75 inches. 6 of the 8 TCL 55-inch models from 2024 to 2026 in this research use 300 × 300 mm; the others use 400 × 300 (2). 5 of them weigh more than this one. 23.2 lb is about 30% under the 33 lb typical of 55-inch panels, which leaves more brackets to choose from.
What changed from the 2023 TCL Q650G
- Pattern: 300 × 200 mm on the Q650G, 300 × 300 mm on the Q6L. An older bracket fits only if its VESA range also covers 300 × 300 mm.
- Weight: 24.2 lb then, 23.2 lb now (1 lb lighter).
- Screws: M6 on both.
- Plan on a new bracket unless the old one's range reaches 300 × 300 mm.

Screws, studs and height
TCL lists M6 screws for the four holes. Use the screws that match that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are only 11.8 in apart side to side, less than the 16 in between studs. The mount's wall plate has to reach two studs on its own, so check its width, not just its VESA range.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 55-inch screen runs from about 29 in to 55 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.
