Samsung lists the 2024 QE1D (QLED) in 55, 65, 70, 75 and 85 inches. 5 of the 7 Samsung 70-inch models from 2024 to 2026 in this research use 400 × 300 mm; the others use 400 × 400 (2). This is the heaviest of them. 62.8 lb is about 10% over the 57 lb typical of 70-inch panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.
Screws, studs and height
Samsung lists M8 screws for the four holes and a 13 mm screw depth. Use the screws that match that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are 15.7 in apart side to side, close to 16-inch stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 70-inch screen runs from about 25 in to 59 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.
