Sony lists the 2026 XR30M2 (Direct LED LCD) in 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, 85 and 100 inches. 1 of the 8 Sony 75-inch models from 2024 to 2026 in this research use 400 × 400 mm; the others use 300 × 300 (7). 6 of them weigh more than this one. 68.8 lb is about 11% over the 62 lb typical of 75-inch panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.
What changed from the 2024 Sony S30
- Pattern: 300 × 300 mm on the S30, 400 × 400 mm on the XR30M2. An older bracket fits only if its VESA range also covers 400 × 400 mm.
- Weight: about the same (69 lb then, 68.8 lb now).
- Plan on a new bracket unless the old one's range reaches 400 × 400 mm.

Screws, studs and height
The holes are 15.7 in apart side to side, close to 16-inch stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.
With the center at 42 in for sofa seating, a 75-inch screen runs from about 24 in to 60 in off the floor. In a bedroom the center goes 42 to 50 in. The height calculator works it out for your own seat.
