Field notes from Atascocita installs
Two kinds of Atascocita share one lake. The 1970s lakefront in Atascocita Shores and Walden is single-story ranch territory, brick veneer over wood stud, drywall inside, full-brick fireplace walls in some, long living-room walls facing the water in most. The 2000s-2020s tract wave in Eagle Springs, Pinehurst, the Summerwood edge and The Groves is brick two-story on slab-on-grade with a game room over the garage and a fireplace niche that no longer fits a modern screen. Atascocita is slab from the shore to the newest cul-de-sac; nothing sits below the floor on either side.
Your installer treats ranch drywall and tract drywall the same way, lag bolts into studs found with a magnet and a pilot, and treats a rebuilt post-flood wall as a puzzle to solve before cutting. Full-brick fireplace faces get Tapcons and the masonry surcharge. Niche walls get spanned, not filled.
Then the weather: sealed penetrations against humidity, CL3 cable through attic heat, exterior-rated hardware on lake-facing patio walls, and a lift-off plan for the patio screen when a hurricane threatens the Gulf coast.
TV mounting prices in Atascocita
Atascocita installs are priced by screen size, and the size is the only variable: $129 up to 54”, $159 for 55-69”, $209 for 70-79”, $255 for 80” and up. Cable concealment $95/TV. The +$99 masonry surcharge applies to brick, stone and concrete; plaster, drywall and metal stud carry none. Around the lake that means the 1970s full-brick fireplace walls and brick patio columns carry the surcharge, and the drywall in every Eagle Springs or Groves family room does not.
