Frequently asked questions
Do all TCL QM8 Series TVs use the same VESA pattern?
No. The line uses 600 × 500 mm, 400 × 400 mm, 600 × 600 mm, 300 × 300 mm, 1000 × 600 mm, 400 × 300 mm and 500 × 400 mm, mostly by screen size. At 65, 75, 85 and 98 inches it also depends on the model; the table gives each one.
What is the heaviest TCL QM8 Series TV?
The TCL QM891G 115-inch (2024), at 216.7 lb without its stand. A mount for it must be rated above that, with the bolts in studs (wood or metal) or masonry, never in drywall alone.
Does the 2026 QM8L take the same mount as an older TCL QM8 Series?
Not everywhere: at 65 inches the QM8K matches but the QM850G and QM851G use 400 × 400 and 400 × 300 mm; at 75 inches the QM850G and QM8K match but the QM851G uses 500 × 400 mm; at 85 inches the QM851G and QM8K match but the QM850G uses 600 × 600 mm; at 98 inches the QM8K matches but the QM850G and QM851G use 600 × 600 mm. An old bracket only fits if its VESA range reaches the new pattern.
