TV VESA patterns by size: 2024-2026 models
Express Mounting research compiled from each maker's published specs: 745 TV listings from 2024, 2025 and 2026, from Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense, Vizio and Roku, each read from the maker's own documents on Sep 22 and 23, 2026. 400 × 300 is the most common pattern (20%), and the six most-listed sizes spread across 4 to 6 patterns each.

What the numbers show
- 400 × 300 leads overall: 149 of 745 listings (20%), from 50 to 85 inches.
- The leader changes with size: 100 × 100 at 24-32 inches, 200 × 200 at 40-50 inches, 300 × 200 at 55-58 inches, 400 × 300 at 60-65 inches, 400 × 400 at 70-77 inches, 600 × 400 at 83-100 inches, 1000 × 600 at 115-116 inches.
- 400 × 400 and 600 × 400 together cover 204 of 745 listings (27%).
- 145 of the 166 models sold in two or more sizes change pattern between sizes (87%).
- 30 listings (4%) use a pattern outside the common standard sizes, such as 600 × 500, 1000 × 600 and 500 × 400, all on 75-inch and larger sets.
Patterns by screen size band
Each band's share is out of the listings in that band. Sizes a band covers are the sizes that exist in the research, so 60-65 is the 60-inch and 65-inch sets.

Sources
Every value comes from the TV maker's own documents, never a retailer or a spec database. Each row in the research names the document its VESA pattern and weight were read from and the date it was checked, and every model page links that document.

The document type is the first source a row cites. Most rows cite more than one document from the same maker: a product page and the setup guide that shipped with the TV, for example.
Method
- Scope: US models from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 model years, one row per model and screen size. The pattern is written long side first, so 300 × 400 and 400 × 300 count as one.
- Each row holds the VESA pattern, the weight without the stand, the screw thread where the maker states it, the US model number, the source document and the date it was checked (Sep 22 and 23, 2026).
- Left out of the counts: 59 rows from these years that the research could not confirm, because the maker's own documents disagree or the only source is a spec table that no second maker document backs up, and 8 listings with no VESA pattern at all (TCL A300L and TCL A300W, which come with the maker's own mount).
- Counted but kept off the model pages: 7 rows where the maker gives only an approximate weight or two of its documents differ on the weight.
- Model year is the maker's own. Vizio does not print one, so a Vizio row's year is the year Vizio first published that model's support article.
Limitations
- The counts are not weighted by sales. A model sold in eight sizes counts eight times; a bestseller counts once per size like any other.
- A line that kept the same pattern and weight from one model year to the next counts once per year, so a line that changed little weighs more.
- Only the seven brands above are covered. Store brands and other makers are not in these numbers.
- These are the makers' published figures, not readings taken from each TV, so check the holes on your own TV before you buy a mount.
Download and reuse
vesa-patterns-by-size-2024-2026.csv holds the counts only: one line per screen size and pattern, per size band and pattern, and per pattern overall, with the listings, the share of that group and the number of brands. The per-model answers live on the VESA mount finder and the model pages.
