Field notes from Tucker installs
Tucker grew up around a railroad. The line came through what is now downtown in 1892 and the community took the Tucker name in 1907, but the housing our crew works in is almost entirely postwar. The dominant stock is 1960s and 1970s ranch and split-level on large lots, with 1970s and 1980s two-story houses filling in behind them, many of those with daylight basements cut into the rolling east DeKalb terrain. Plaster-and-lath does turn up in the handful of genuinely old houses near the tracks and Main Street Tucker, and when it does we drop the electronic stud finder and probe with a pilot bit, because lath reads as solid framing to every scanner made. Everything else is drywall on wood studs.
Smoke Rise was developed in the 1960s as brick-front ranches and split-levels on wide, wooded streets, and it behaves the same way under a drill: brick veneer outside, wood framing and drywall inside, anchors into the studs rather than the masonry. The original brick fireboxes in these houses are real full brick, so we set sleeve anchors in the mortar joints and leave the face alone.
Tucker incorporated as a city in 2016 and covers more than 22 square miles, which is a long way for one crew to cover in a day. We batch Tucker jobs by corridor so a Lavista Road morning and a Brockett Road afternoon stay same-day.
TV mounting prices in Tucker

In Tucker the masonry surcharge lands almost entirely on the original brick fireboxes in the 1960s and 1970s houses. How Express Mounting covers Tucker
Alex Crabinsky started Express Mounting in Atlanta in 2015; 7,874 documented installs and a top-rated reputation later, the process is dialed in. Tucker jobs run with our own crew, off one install checklist, backed by the same 100% satisfaction guarantee on every address. We already know that a Brockett Road ranch wants a lag bolt into original framing while a newer Northlake-area partition wants a SnapToggle, so the hardware is on the truck before we knock.
