Field notes from Cypress installs
Almost nothing in Cypress predates 1990, which makes the walls easy to predict and the details worth knowing. Fairfield and Coles Crossing are 1990s-2000s brick two-story tract on wood stud and half-inch drywall. Cypress Creek Lakes and Blackhorse Ranch carried the same plan through the 2000s. Towne Lake and Bridgeland brought the stone fronts, and with them the stacked-stone accent walls and pre-wired media walls that change how a bracket goes up. All of it is slab-on-grade with the ductwork in the attic, so the attic is the only place a cable can travel besides the wall.
Your installer puts drywall-over-stud walls on 5/16-inch lag bolts, treats stone veneer as a two-bit drill job with the masonry surcharge, uses a SnapToggle only for the odd point that misses framing, and measures a flood-remodeled wall before sizing a single lag.
Weather sets the rest of the rules. Sealed penetrations against humidity, CL3 cable through attic heat past 130°F, coated fasteners on any patio wall, and an eye on the Gulf from June to November, because a hurricane or a windstorm off a Gulf storm is the only weather that moves a Cypress appointment.
TV mounting prices in Cypress
There are four numbers in Cypress and the size of the screen picks one: $129 up to 54”, $159 for 55-69”, $209 for 70-79”, $255 for 80” and up. Cable concealment $95/TV. Expect the published +$99 masonry surcharge when the bracket lands on brick, stone or concrete, and nothing extra on plaster, drywall and metal stud. In Cypress the surcharge lands on stacked-stone accent walls, stone or brick fireplace faces and brick patio columns; every plain drywall wall from Fairfield to Bridgeland stays at the base rate.

How Express Mounting covers Cypress
Alex Crabinsky started Express Mounting in Atlanta in 2015. The 7,874 documented installs since then are the reason the Cypress process looks the way it does. Cypress jobs go to vetted Harris County installers, who carry the same hardware, follow the same install checklist, and stand behind the work with the same 100% satisfaction guarantee. The installer we dispatch has drilled through enough Towne Lake stone veneer to know where the stud behind it sits before the bit touches the wall.
