Field notes from Rhodes Ranch installs
Rhodes Ranch is a gated golf community in the southwest Las Vegas valley, built from the late 1990s through the 2000s around the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. Construction is the valley standard: stucco over wood frame, drywall, tile roof, no basement. What dates a house here is the family room. The early phases still have the framed entertainment niche; the later streets toward the Durango Drive side went to open two-story great rooms.
That gives us three jobs under one roof type. Niche work, which is carpentry and texture as much as mounting. Straight tract walls on the single-story plans off the Warm Springs corridor. And the golf-course customs on the Fort Apache side with cultured stone around a gas insert.
Hardware sorts itself accordingly: 5/16-inch lag bolts into wood stud, 5-inch lags through stone veneer into framing, drywall and texture tools for a niche fill. Everything anchored for Seismic Design Category D, four points on big panels, arms locked. Cable runs stay in the wall cavity rather than the attic, which under a Rhodes Ranch tile roof gets hot enough to age a jacket early.
TV mounting prices in Rhodes Ranch
Same card, every street inside the gates: $129 up to 54”, $159 for 55-69”, $209 for 70-79”, $255 for 80”+. Cable concealment $95/TV. Cultured stone and stacked stone fireplace walls add the published +$99 masonry surcharge; drywall over wood stud and plaster carry NO surcharge. Full-motion arms run +$72 and a soundbar is $79, no travel fee. A niche fill is quoted separately as carpentry; the mount stays at the published rate.
